Maple Bourbon Bacon Wrapped Burgers!

Happy National Burger Day!
 For the special occasion I made bacon wrapped burger (YUM!!!) they were delicious! I mean, what’s not to love about bacon wrapped burgers, right? My obsession with maple bourbon bacon continues, I wonder what else I can make with that combination. I served them with sweet potato fries.


1 pound Ground Beef 

Bacon (5-6 slices per burger)

Cheddar Cheese cut into slices 

1 shot bourbon 

1/3 cup pure maple syrup 

Mix maple syrup and bourbon together. In a Bowl put bacon and add maple/bourbon mixture, let marinate 10 minutes or more. Take some ground beef and form it into a flat cup. Cut some cheddar cheese and place it in the bottom of the ground beef cup. Using more ground beef, create a burger patty around the cheese. Wrap bacon around burger. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Bake 10 minutes to cook the bacon halfway and set aside. Cook the burgers with the bacon seam side down first until the bacon is crispy, flip and cook until the bacon on the second side is crispy.
